Golf around Whitianga

Six varied golf courses are in the immediate vicinity of ON THE POINT and can be reached within 15 to 45 minutes. Some are located directly by the ocean, others in the hilly Coromandel Ranges. The absolute top spots are The Dunes in Matarangi and Lakes Resort in Pauanui. In Purangi and Coromandel you will find beautifully landscaped country courses. The latter is one of the 10 most beautiful 9-hole courses in New Zealand.
